First Look: 50 Cent G-Unit MP3 Watch
Great, the last thing the consumer electronics world needs right now is a watch that’s associated with a rapper and branded after its group name. Not that there’s anything wrong with it, but a 50 Cent branded MP3 watch would be the last thing you would think about when shopping for MP3 players. As much as a selected group of individuals despise rap and label it as "trash", might we add that this watch is definitely not for the people on budget. The 50 Cent G-Unit branded watch is apparently for the elite in our society with the basic model going for $486.00 and the high-end model with diamonds and other bling-bling expected to retail for $3500.00; the $3,500 model does not come with an MP3 player built-in.
The G-Unit MP3 watch is expected to hit jewelry stores sometime this month in capacities of 256MB and 512MB. It would use stainless steel in addition to the included pair of earphones with retractable cord and a power adapter for charging the watch.
According to the initial information we received, you can hold up to 16 hours of music on the 512MB version. Similar to other MP3 watches, the standard buttons such as play/pause, skip forward/backward etc. are situated on the outer side of the watch to make it convenient for users. The watch will use an USB standard to transfer files back and forth between the PC.
