Engadget Mobile got the opportunity to take a hands-on approach with Motorola’s 2nd edition RAZR (officially named Canary). Apparently Engadget Mobile isn’t too impressed with the unit. Not only is it a magnet for fingerprints, but the design isn’t innovative a least bit. In other words, it’s a simpler version of the original RAZR.

Motorola is capitalizing on the original RAZR brand, which is alright for them, but for RAZR admirers, there doesn’t appear to be any specific reason why you would want to opt for Canary.

Canary isn’t expected to debut anytime soon.
