Kensington Ci75 Wireless Notebook Mouse Review

Kensington Ci75m Wireless Notebook Mouse Review

(Review) – Kensington’s Ci75 is another notebook mouse in the company’s portfolio with a simple twist. The way Kensington works is – they will make a change or two in a product and call it new. Usually the change isn’t even that significant, but that’s the company’s way of avoiding feature exhaustion in its peripherals. Whatever works, I guess.

Ci75 is your typical notebook mouse more or less. It integrates a scroll wheel and left/right buttons up top with a battery life indicator on the scroll wheel. However, what’s different is that the mouse is both wired and wireless. With a 1,000-dpi laser engine, the mouse works on a 27MHz wireless frequency for wireless support, but for an even robust operation, you can pull the wire out and make it an USB-powered mouse. Cool! The wireless connector gets stored underneath the mouse and has a "click" feel. Unfortunately, we noticed that the battery compartment cover came off too easily because it’s held in place with three tiny magnets.

With a sexy design, Kensington’s Ci75 is a great performer with strong signal strength, precise and accurate laser engine.

For $26.00, it’s a fine little device that’ll serve you well if you are looking for a mouse that’ll get the job done without a lot of frills. Go get it!
