Chrome For The Mac Is Almost Here
The latest report from ZDNET indicates that the launch of the Google Chrome browser on OS X could indeed be just hours away, rather than days. Some of the challenges still to be worked through according to the article, include ironing out a few bugs, plus some internal “spilling of the beta beans” from Google themselves. Despite that, it appears that the browser as it is now, would be stable enough for use even before its initial launch.
What does this mean to you?
Normally most OS X users are working with Safari or Firefox. Up until today, Google’s Chrome has been something that Mac users have had to watch from afar as Windows users enjoyed using the alternative browser. Today, assuming it is in fact released as expected, Mac users will be able to easily install and enjoy Chrome in much the same way as Windows users have been.
