If you follow the various Apple rumors out there, you are likely to be confused as we have been about the likelihood of an Apple Tablet being released. Truth being stranger than fiction, many still maintain that the Apple Tablet is coming and is coming soon. The Macalope over at ComputerWorld on the other hand, is skeptical at best. The Macalope maintains that not only is it very likely that the rumors are hot air, but the fact that we already have Apple Tablet killers is a reflection of just how sad the PC side of things has become.

What does this mean to you?

In many respects, the Macalope;s thoughts on all things Apple can be like having cold water thrown on you. Often unpleasant to occur, but more often than not very much needed. In this case I think the Macalope may be wrong.  Call it a gut feelings, but I believe that Apple is indeed looking to eventually build up what could be their next iPhone like product. So I believe that the rumors are true. However I would agree that Apple is not going to be releasing anything anytime soon, despite my own previous thoughts.
