Texting While Driving 6x More Dangerous Than Talking

We’re all about stating the obvious today, especially if its pertains to texting. This news comes from the University of Utah where a group of researchers recruited 40 participants with the average age of 21 and decided to put them to the test. The study revealed that texting while driving is six times as likely to get you in an accident than talking on the handset while driving. The reaction times were slower and the attention span wasn’t quite up to the mark either.

That means, if it isn’t already clear, quit texting and pay attention to the road, instead.
