TSA Subpoenas Bloggers as the World Watches
Reports have been coming in for sometime now about the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) demanding the names of sources linked to blogging about alleged leaked security information. Bloggers Steve Frischling and Chris Elliott were both served subpoenas demanding that they reveal their sources who gave them information on the directive to increase security after the recent U.S. terrorist threat.
What does this mean to you?
If you are thinking it’s a good idea to blog about anything to do with any three letter agency, consider the consequences. While some might argue this is a sad state of affairs, others would instead point out that security should be taken seriously considering recent events. Blogging about a security leak like this is just stupid, and it translates into asking for problems.
