However, PC World did an interesting analysis that makes shipping 10 million units a feat.

Apple sold 5.4 million iPhones in the first year, and PC World suggests if Apple could only move 5.4M units in a mature market, selling 10M units of a brand new product in a new market would be miraculous at best, especially at Apple’s industry average prices.
