Twitter Will Endure And Overcome

Where will Twitter be in the next few years? According to a recent report by the NY Times, Twitter is not going anywhere. Twitter will endure, while other aspects of the social Web might fade away. The article goes on to point out that the secret of Twitter’s expected future success is with its simplicity. From its API to the applications that support it, Twitter appears to be a force to be reckoned with.

What does this mean to you?

Facebook is a necessary evil in my world. Outside of that, it is a headache to use. Farmville, Fishville, whatever the latest game is of the week being blasted in my face. No, I will be among those who believe that Twitter is vastly more useful and powerful in the long haul in comparison to other services. No other service even comes close, I concur in the belief that Twitter will survive in the years to come.
