Palm has finally hit the 1,000 apps milestone for its platform. With Apple’s 100,000 apps and Google’s 16,000, this milestone doesn’t mean much in the short-term, but TechCrunch claims we could see the app growth for Palm accelerate in the near future. Ever since Palm has decided to let developers use a custom URL to have users download their apps, they have seen the app growth going up in momentum. Naturally, it’s only in Palm’s interest to work with developers and give them as much support as possible if they want to see more apps in their App Catalog.
