In addition to Verizon, Google will also officially support Vodafone as its carrier of choice for the Nexus One starting in Spring for the European market. This will presumably be the CDMA version that Google will unveil in three months or so. Google said it’s looking to use its phone store to sell more Android-powered devices to consumers through various carriers in more countries across the global. It’s looking to make its store the central hub for Android devices going forward.

This looks to be exciting news, and with Google’s audience reach, it’s expected to take a few jabs at Apple and its archrival iPhone in the coming months. 2010 will indeed be an exciting year to watch Google and Apple fight it out with innovative new products.
