HTC: Nexus One Woes Not Our Fault
In a previous report, you learned about early adopting Nexus One owners being left out in the cold by Google with phone operational issues. Now we are seeing reports that mobile vendor HTC admits nothing is actually wrong with the problematic device, according to BetaNews. Despite the fact 3G access is non-existent for many Nexus One users, only now are we seeing T-Mobile take appropriate actions with data collection to study the issue closely.
What does this mean to you?
How many people didn’t see this one coming? AT&T must be rolling around laughing at this. For once, it’s not them getting poor press for a lousy 3G service. While the various involved companies do their data collection, those poor unfortunate folks who now own a semi-functional Nexus One are left holding onto a device that only half works. Clearly, Google needs to step up and find a way of addressing this and fast…since it is branded with their name.
