While most of us are still updating to the latest official iPhone update, now reports are coming in that OS 4.0 for the iPhone is just around the corner. CNET goes on to ponder whether or not this possible proof of a new 4.0 release might actually be proof of something new? Such as a possible new iPhone model, perhaps? Not too likely, as CNET later reported, this was all a mistake. Seems that the 4.0 was about another application, not the actual iPhone OS itself.

What does this mean to you?

Boy, even CNET is getting the iPhone fever. Getting this news wrong could happen to anyone. But I do concur in the belief that a 4.0 OS for the upcoming Apple Tablet is not out of the question. The real issue, however, is whether we will see a shared OS with the tablet and the iPhone or not?
