Google is looking for stronger distribution of their Nexus One phone. And to help with this, PC World is reporting that Wal-Mart looks to be the retailer up to the task. The report also sheds some light on the possibility that Wal-Mart sold Nexus One could be available on other networks besides T-Mobile.

What does this mean to you?

As others have pointed out, the Nexus One still has plenty of money to earn before we put it out to pasture like the Palm Pre.  Despite its slow sales initially, placing these phones in the hands of the mega-retailer Wal-Mart could be just the kick start they need to get people to purchase the Google phone over the Apple iPhone.
