Apple iPad is iPhone on Steroids
Just like our rumor from two weeks ago, Apple’s new iPad really is an iPhone on steroids. It packs a nice big display, but the layout and the user interface is exactly like the iPhone or the iPod touch devices. There’s one home button on the device with a volume rocker on the right edge of the iPad, just like the iPhone.
The icons are more spaced out with a dock at the bottom to hold a few of your most-used applications. Naturally, Apple has reworked its default apps to make them look sleeker and take advantage of the iPad’s added functionality. Apple admits that if you have ever used the iPhone or an iPod touch before, using the iPad will offer a similar experience, except for the obvious differences with more menus and options that are now available on the iPad.
In other words, the iPad really is the iPhone on steroids.
