Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg confirmed that 50%, or 175 million, users login to Facebook everyday in an interview to TechCrunch at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. What’s interesting to note is that these are users to Facebook.com and not to Facebook Connect and other services that connect to Facebook as a third-party utility.

Sandberg revealed that Facebook, despite its exponential growth, has always had a 50% login rate, which is fairly remarkable for a service that has 350 million users and continues to grow.

Add in Facebook Connect and other services that let users login and manage their account, the daily login rate is likely higher, which is historical. There are very few Internet companies, if any, that have reached such interaction at this stage.
