Just like we have seen countless time before, social media, again, falls victim to various scams and hacks. According to TechNewsWorld, Twitter has been hit hard by a password grabbing exploit affecting a number of Twitter users. No word on who is responsible for the exploit, but the end result is fairly obvious. Twitter users beware.

What does this mean to you?

As I learn more about the scam and the associated exploits, I find it deviously brilliant. The end game, as it were, was to allow the malicious coder to have access to countless Twitter accounts so the coder could them spam the user’s own followers. I suppose the lesson here is to be aware of your login information, keep it changing and constantly updated.
