Google Asks China to Shutdown Clone Website, Googjje
Here’s a report of yet another Google China issue, this time involving a clone Web site clearly pretending to be a Google look-a-like. Unfortunately, it appears that the clone Web site designed to look like Google may be legal by Chinese law due to a technicality.
What does this mean to you?
It’s unreal what Google has to tolerate within the Chinese border. If the revenue dips down far enough, I would bail on China like a bad habit. Clearly the Chinese government has no interest in making the American search giant feel comfortable. So why should Google continue to tolerate the inhospitable nature of those in China who have worked overtime to make Google’s life miserable? After all, Google has enough going on in the US, especially with Facebook right now.
