Just when the world thought the world belonged to the iPhone and the Nexus One, comes HTC’s entrance into the ring. As Engadget demonstrates for us, the HTC HD Mini proves that powerful phones can come in smaller packages. Providing users with a 3.2-inch HVGA display, HTC is keeping this bad boy out of the hands of U.S. owners and instead opting for an overseas release.

What does this mean to you?

HTC was overdue with something after the Nexus One. Not so much with functionality, as with the timing of its release. Sadly though, those of us here in the States appear to be out of luck as HTC is dead set to release the HTC HD Mini overseas at this point.
