Why are Facebook games so darn popular? According to CNN, social games, such as the ones we see on Facebook are singlehandedly changing the face of gaming as we know it.  The report goes on to explain that Facebook games do so well simply because of how “accessible” they are.

Being able to play a game, then participate with your friends over social networks has proven to be very successful for game makers. I think what is most interesting is how gender plays a role in certain popular Facebook games. Apparently games like Farmville and Café World are attracting the otherwise elusive female demographic.
