Google China Fighting Off Risk of Expected Brain Drain

As most CoolTechZone.com readers likely know, things with Google China have been pretty hectic as of late. Now that things are beginning to calm down some, Google China is hiring in a big way to avoid what some might describe as a “brain drain,” also known as a lack of usable talent from which to hire from.

According to Business Week, Google is still recovering from the fall in Chinese demand during the censorship turmoil in the region. Google shares fell $7.73 during hostilities with China, and only now are the advertising orders beginning to resurface for Google China. Improved ad sales, bundled with Google’s desire to avoid a brain drain by hiring new engineers and other personnel, indicate that Google is not likely to leave China anytime soon.
