This on again, off again approach to operating the Apple App Store is pretty annoying. Wired has issued a report indicating that Apple is suffering from significant indecision on whether or not to allow an “Explicit” category to be maintained in the App Store. Thus far, the only thing Apple seems to be consistent on is their lack of consistency on whether or not to allow such a category.What has most likely has readers scratching their heads is why the “big players” in the smut market are given a green light to peddle their offerings in the App Store, while the smaller players are being stopped cold? The news of Apple favoring Playboy was explored not too long ago, apparently this issue is still not resolved and becoming worse for smaller app developers.
