The raves about Google Buzz are from those who are simply willing to let Google do as they will, at least this is the take I get from this recent article from DaniWeb. According to the story, Gmail needs to kill Google Buzz immediately. Speaking for other Gmail users apparently, the article explains that Google Buzz is, in essence, killing the Gmail experience.

Flash forward: does this mean that Google Buzz was a bad idea? On its own, it could have been fantastic. And providing users with the choice to manually turn on a switch to enable Gmail integration, it might have been fine. But instead Google opted to integrate Google Buzz into Gmail, despite the fact that the need was not there at all. Lucky for us, we can turn the darn thing off!
