Introducing Six Graduating Features From Gmail Labs

Gmail has come a long way over the past few years. And to celebrate its successes, it has graduated a number of features that were previously considered beta, according to PC Pro.  Two of the biggest features that have received their “graduation papers” include an attachment detector and the much hated Google Buzz.

The article also makes mention of cool features that passed muster including colored Gmail labels, YouTube previewer and their auto-complete search bar. Of the features that were dropped include fixed width fonts and an automatic location feature. This was something that turns out to be a good thing, according to this piece, as Google Buzz privacy settings are pretty poor. Imagine all of your contacts always knowing where you’re at at any given moment.
