Antitrust Advice to Google, Welcome to the Club

If Google was looking to Microsoft for a shoulder to cry on regarding antitrust woes, perhaps it’s best if Google keeps on looking. The Washington Post points out that not only is Google feeling the heat from EU-based antitrust woes, but Microsoft has their influence written all over the entire series of events. The report goes on to explain that Google and Microsoft have blogged about the responses in regards to the charge that Microsoft has been involved in the EU investigation from the beginning.

According to Microsoft’s blog post, they readily admit they were involved in trumpeting the alarm against Google. What is rather humorous is Microsoft calling Google a monopoly. Being as Microsoft has had a monopoly in the OS market for what feels like an eternity now, it’s interesting that this is how Microsoft deals with the fact that they are unable to compete like others in the marketplace. It seems crystal clear that Microsoft is and will always remain a sore loser.
