Things between News Corp.’s Rupert Murdoch and Google just keep heating up. The Daily Finance reports that talks are growing stale and Murdoch’s approach to dealing with Google appears to not be working at all. The article goes on to explain that he is still in talks with Microsoft, in addition to looking into the practicality of selling his content in “bundles.”

Here is where things get really loony. Assuming Murdoch does end up working with Microsoft, he expects them to pay for the content he provides. He will also likely seek legal action against Google if their talks break down. Clearly, taking an aggressive stance against Google, and others like them, Murdoch is not playing games it would appear. The big question for those who say we can live without him – are you fine without Hulu if Murdoch packs up shop then?
