Lately, Google’s improvements to their search engine options have been less than exciting. But then I learned of this report from CMSWire in which my opinion of the search engine company skyrocketed. Introducing “Google Stars.” The idea is that you can now favorite your Google query results.

Will this take off and prove to be successful? I’d find this of more value if it were not integrated into my organic search. I find features like this to be more of a distraction than anything. That said, I’m sure most Google users are going to love this new search result marking functionality. After all, it has stars! Who can say no to that?
