HTC Touch2 Review

In the last few days, we’ve looked at a number of Windows Mobile 6.5 phones including the Samsung Omnia II, LG Expo and HTC HD2. Today, we have another phone from HTC, the HTC Touch2 that has the same Microsoft OS that we’re just about ready to let go of to start fresh with Windows Phone 7 Series.

In a review, CNET writes, “The HTC Touch2 features a sleek design. Even as an entry-level device, it offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.2-megapixel camera. Windows Mobile 6.5 brings some nice improvements to the user interface.”

However, “The Touch2 doesn’t support U.S. 3G. Screen is low resolution and there’s no accelerometer.”

In conclusion, “With the design improvements and enhancements of Windows Mobile 6.5, the HTC Touch2 makes for a nice smartphone for first-time users. Unfortunately, it’s not bound for the U.S. and may not be worth its unlocked price.”
