Google Chrome Wins Browser Speed Test

In an all out battle for the fastest browser, Tom’s Hardware did extensive performance testing to see which one would take home the crown for the speediest browser. The winner? Google Chrome.

What’s interesting to note is how the tables have turned ever since Google Chrome has come into the picture and focused on speed right from the beginning. Where Mozilla Firefox used to shine, it’s starting to look it could be replaced quickly. In Tom’s tests, Chrome came first, Opera, the underdog, came second, Safari placed third, Firefox scored fourth and Internet Explorer ended the race in last position.

Firefox needs to get back on its game, quit being complacent and shoot for the moon if it doesn’t want to end up in the same position that it put Internet Explorer in years ago.
