A new round of rumors suggest that Verizon has started training some of its employees on the EVDO version of the Google Nexus One phone. There’s no word on when the phone will be available, but if the training has begun, the availability date must be close. Google suggested its plan to introduce the Nexus One for Verizon in early January during the Nexus One launch, and initial plans suggested that Verizon will have the Google phone some time in Spring. This could be it.

If the spring deadlines for Verizon holds true, we may see the Nexus One on Vodafone soon as well.
