Zen Bound 2, The First iPad Game Debuts
One of the markets that Apple is determined to put off balance is gaming. With Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony as the only companies in the market enjoying this billion-dollar opportunity, Apple came in to take on the handhelds with the iPod touch. Now, with the iPad, it’s hoping to cut into the market even more. When Jobs revealed the iPad to the world, one of the few things that we were excited about was gaming. However, up until today, we hadn’t seen a promising, graphically rich game for the upcoming device.
Secret Exit is showing off images of its Zen Bound 2 game that’s a sequel and a revision for the iPad. The graphics are detailed, rich and the gameplay should be interesting. According to the press release, “The graphical fidelity on the iPad far improves on the critically acclaimed visuals of the first game – the surfaces are brimming with detail, vivid colors and subdued tones.”
Zen Bound 2 should be available around the same time the iPad goes on sale, April 3.
