There is a lot of excitement going on in Boston and Seattle, thanks in part to Verizon’s recent 4G network testing. The results thus far have been astounding, according to The Washington Post. Verizon is reporting that initial tests have shown fantastic results, proving they are on the right track for a healthy 4G network.

The benefits are the real key factor here. As outlined by Verizon, moving to the 4G network translates into users finding improved speed, in addition to less data congestion. The latter point alone provides Verizon with a big advantage over the competition. Meanwhile, AT&T is projecting 4G sometime in 2011, while T-Mobile is still very much in the planning stages.
