Android Gains While iPhone Remains Flat Lined

Despite the fact that Android is a drag to develop for apparently, this article from TechCrunch shows us that developers might want to buckle down and deal with the hassles, as it’s the platform of choice at the moment. In the meantime, the iPhone is flat-lining and the Palm phones are almost non-existent altogether.

The worst of the lot, however, was Windows Mobile. It’s doing even worse than Palm, which is difficult to believe. But the article clearly points out that Windows Mobile dropped by approximately 4%. Clearly, now is a good time for Microsoft to do something with Windows Phone 7. But the real story here is that it seems like the iPhone is stalling. Could it be the fact that users are beyond tired of being hog tied to the AT&T network?

Android and iPhone are the winners.
