Amazon has done a great job in franchising the Kindle brand across multiple platforms; however, it has always left Android users wondering where the Kindle for Android app was. Sure, it took Amazon a while to get that up and running, but it’s finally here.

Yesterday, we reported on a leaked ad campaign from Dell for the Dell Mini 5, and one of the notable aspects of the campaign promised a multitude of Amazon services – everything from audio to video to yes, the long-awaited Kindle app for Android. This naturally means the Kindle app for Android is here, and it will make way to the Android Market soon.
