Barnes & Noble eReader for iPad Coming Soon

In addition to Amazon’s Kindle franchising strategy, Barnes & Noble is pursuing a similar model to get its eBookstore up and running on as many devices as possible. Earlier today, B&N confirmed that it’s working on releasing an iPad version of its eBookstore that will give users access to a million eBooks, magazines and newspapers.

The company has already expanded itself on the PC, Mac, BlackBerry, iPhone and iPod touch platforms. Unlike Amazon, there’s no word on when B&N will debut on Android. The B&N eBookstore will be synced with one account that will allow users to connect to all devices, so their books and other content is always a tap away across multiple devices.
