There has been a lot of chatter about Verizon lately as the largest US carrier boosts its smartphone offerings. The latest in line in rumors is the upcoming HTC Incredible.

The HTC Incredible is very similar to the Google Nexus One with a Snapdragon processor running at 768MHz, an 8-megapixel camera, 512MB of RAM, HTC’s iconic Sense UI and Android 2.1 for the OS.

More interestingly, just as the HTC Desire is headed to AT&T, and perhaps even T-Mobile, Verizon is getting the HTC Incredible some time in May. Verizon subscribers should be very happy with the carrier’s aggressive interest in introducing new smartphones to its product portfolio.
