Google Nexus One Not Available in Verizon Stores, Confirmed

Android Central has just received a copy of the screenshot that confirms that Verizon will not sell the Nexus One in its retail stores. We had a strong reason to believe that’s what Verizon would do based on the comments we received earlier from the company.

Google, as we predicated earlier, is trying to change the traditional way of doing business with carriers. Even if it ends up losing money on the prospect, while shaking up yet another industry, it will be inclined to do so. As such, the Nexus One will debut on Google.com/phones after it’s revealed to the world. We suspect Google will debut the Verizon version of its Nexus One at CTIA 2010 on March 23.

With the way Google’s sales are going, it would be in its interest to partner with Verizon for more offline presence, but we suppose not.
