In what BusinessWeek refers to Nokia’s wish to “move even faster,” the mighty mobile handset maker is looking to angle themselves into a partnership with Microsoft. While the expected date of any action with the Nokia-Microsoft partnership is not until 2011, the possibility of Nokia jumping into Microsoft’s mobile offerings provides for a bit of excitement nevertheless.

Think of it this way. We already know that Microsoft is working on perhaps the best thing in the mobile space to come from them in a very long time. Bundle this with the rock solid reliability of Nokia phones, and we might just see a real turn around for both companies.
