Rush of Content Deals Before iPad Release

The iPad is on its way and yet we are now learning that the expected content might still be held up. According to the Wall Street Journal, the expected content line up for the iPad release has proven to be a lot more difficult than initially anticipated.

You name the content, there’s likely some kind of hang up somewhere. Thus far, definite no-shows for the iPad release include TV shows and other content is expected to join it with delays of their own. While there is still some hope that we’ll see newspaper and magazine subscription options before the iPad release, I’m of the mind that the media at large is growing tired of working with Apple. I bet they’re trying to provide their own tablet device, instead.
