Secret iPad Apps Show Up in App Store

A week before the official availability of the iPad, Apple has started approving iPad exclusive apps and have added them to the App Store. Many of the apps are using “HD” or “XL” to designate between the iPhone and the iPad versions of the same app. Other developers are packaging both versions in a single download that would automatically resize depending on the screen size.

Trying to download iPad apps results in an error, PadGadget reports. There you have it. Apple is approving apps for the iPad to make sure it has a robust library of apps when the iPad debuts officially for sale.
