In an AdMob mobile analytics report, the company revealed a few highly interesting tidbits. Not that it’s surprising, but Android is the fastest growing mobile OS by far. However, more importantly, out of the top 10 smartphones in the US, 7 were Android phones in February.

Apple’s iPhone held the first place, while RIM’s 8300 and Palm’s Pre came in at number 8 and 9 spots, respectively. Considering how many Android phones there are in the market, we suppose we shouldn’t be too surprised to see the difference, but it’s exciting nonetheless.
