Remember a short time ago how we explained that you can indeed get Windows Phone 7 running on the HTC HD2? Well, now we know why HTC has zero interest in releasing the new mobile OS for the phone. Seems IntoMobile has uncovered the motivation on HTC’s rather dodgy behavior on Windows Phone 7.

Seeing as the HTC CEO sees the Nexus One as a smashing success, it’s only logical to have the company want to continue with this trend on the next big thing – Windows Phone 7 on a completely new phone. Based on what we see, there is a move to push Windows Phone 7 forward as the logical enterprise choice. Should be interesting to see if this takes off.
