Previously, we explained that HTC expressed no interest in providing support for Windows Phone 7 for their HD2 phone. And since then, some have speculated that there may have been some challenges to making such a thing happen. As it turns out, RedmondPie managed to prove that theory wrong!

It seems RedmondPie caught wind of a Russian user who managed to get a hold of a copy of Windows Phone 7, only to then put it on a HTC HD2 phone. As we can see from the video below, it’s actually working rather well despite HTC’s obvious lack of interest. Personally, this begs the question as to why HTC is being so difficult about this? Do they have something else up their sleeves perhaps?
