Google’s Android Fragmentation Fix

Android fragmentation has been an ongoing concern for a number of months now. Experts all seem to agree that the problem is that Android is progressing much faster than their partners can keep up with. Thankfully, it looks as if Google has a fix for this problem.

According to Information Week, the solution that Google has in mind is a matter of moving the dependence of applications using Android’s core to something usable across all Android revisions. All we can say is that it’s about time. Sadly though, it’s not not going to happen overnight, which will only serve to prolong the fragmentation problem for Android.
