Most of us thought it would never happen. The problematic Google Nexus One is actually making Google money. Wonders never cease! As TechCrunch points out for us, Google is earning record profits and some of this is, indeed, reflected with the sales of the Google Nexus One.

Despite Google’s claim of strong sales, we remain firm in our belief that the various HTC Android offerings will dethrone any progress the Nexus One has made with the mainstream user base. The fact of the matter is there are other great Android-powered phones that provide a better overall experience without the hassles reported early on with the Nexus One.
