Nexus One to Offer 802.11N Soon
Sometimes, trying to rely on mobile broadband is just not going to cut it. When this happens, it’s clear that using local WiFi has some advantages that ought to be considered. How fast do you want it? How about at 802.11N speeds?
As the Android Guys pointed out, Google is not going to do anything worthwhile about the problems users are having with their 3G connectivity. Definitely a buzz-kill, but something of a crisis averted, however, assuming we see 802.11N activated and made available asap. It may not be a fix for the mobile broadband issue on the Nexus One, but it’s better than telling users they’re completely out of luck.
