Personally, having tried both, there is no contest. The iPad is an over-sized iPhone. And as luck would have it, I already own one of those devices. Despite this, iPads are pacing themselves to put netbooks and other portable computing options on notice.

CNN is reporting that netbooks sales are floating to Apple in the form of sold iPads. Worse is the increasing number of people who started shopping for a netbook and ended up pulling the trigger for an iPad. As it stands now, we are looking at 30% of the netbook shoppers jumping ship and buying an iPad in lieu of the cheaper netbook option.
