There is a lot of anticipation that we’ll be seeing a massive flood of popular magazines making their way onto the iPad any day now. From the looks of things, looking for a flood of content might be overstating the reality of the adoption rate for publishers. However, one magazine publisher has officially taken the plunge.

As of today, Wired Magazine is officially available on the iPad. Best of all, Wired is excited at the prospect of allowing their print media to find new life on this digital tablet. Bundled with plenty of rich media, along with their groundbreaking ads, the publisher expects the experiment to be successful. What do you think?
