Last week, we reported Qik’s intention to charge $4.99/month for its video chat application on the HTC EVO 4G, arguably the hottest Android phone that’s about to hit the market on June 4. However, since then, the company has clarified its pricing structure. The application will be free to use for users who are interested in doing video calls, Qik said. The company will charge a $4.99/monthly fee for “advanced premium features.” It’s unclear what those features will be yet, but Qik will reveal the details on June 4 alongside the HTC EVO 4G launch.
