Apple’s new iPhone 4 is surprisingly strong, at least compared to the previous 3G and 3GS models. iFixYouri did a drop test on the new device and found it to be fairly drop resistant. The first couple of times, the phone experienced minor scratches and kept working. The third time it turned off, it looks like but probably still worked. It’s unclear from the video below. It took a fourth major drop for the display to crack, but the phone might still have been working internally. Not bad for a device that’s nearly all glass.
